EtaVolt Named Finalist in the Emerging Sustainability Enterprise Award 2025

January 8, 2026

EtaVolt is honoured to be selected as a finalist for the Emerging Sustainability Enterprise Award 2025, an annual programme co-presented by OCBC and The Business Times. The award recognises high-potential young enterprises in Singapore and the region that are driving meaningful impact in innovation and sustainability.

Established in 2008, the Emerging Enterprise Award supports promising businesses under ten years old by providing visibility, advisory support and resources for accelerated growth. In 2025, the programme received nearly 600 applications from Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia, with only 30 companies named as finalists. EtaVolt is proud to be among the enterprises selected this year.

During the ceremony, Ms Low Yen Ling, Minister of State for Trade and Industry, highlighted selected finalists for their contributions to Singapore’s innovation and sustainability landscape. EtaVolt was recognised for its role in advancing the circular solar economy through technologies that extend solar panel lifespan, recover valuable materials and enable responsible end-of-life management.

As a spin-off from ERI@N, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), EtaVolt continues to translate deep-tech solar research into scalable, commercially deployed solutions that drive Singapore’s renewable energy ecosystem. Being named a finalist affirms the progress of our team and underscores the growing importance of circular technologies in shaping a sustainable clean energy future.

EtaVolt looks forward to building on this milestone and partnering with industry players, customers and collaborators across Singapore and the region to advance circular and sustainable innovation in the ESG sector.
