EtaVolt Featured in Singapore’s GreenGov.SG FY2024 Report for Advancing Circular Solar Innovation

January 8, 2026

EtaVolt is honoured to be featured in the GreenGov.SG FY2024 Report, published by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE). The annual report tracks the public sector’s progress in environmental sustainability, including efforts across energy efficiency, water management, waste reduction and emissions. EtaVolt’s inclusion reflects the growing national focus on circular, low-carbon, and resource-efficient technologies that support Singapore’s clean energy future.

The report highlights EtaVolt’s proprietary PV regeneration technology under the SolarNova programme, a national initiative jointly administered by the Housing & Development Board (HDB) and the Economic Development Board (EDB) to scale solar adoption across Singapore. Solar panels typically last 25 to 30 years, but natural degradation can reduce their performance by 12 to 15 percent toward the end of their lifespan. EtaVolt’s regeneration technology addresses this by using intense light to re-energise and repair solar cells, restoring up to 5 percent efficiency within minutes and extending each panel’s lifespan by four to five years through a simple annual treatment. This enhances long-term maintenance while supporting more sustainable solar operations.

EtaVolt’s feature in the GreenGov.SG report underscores the importance of circular solar solutions in supporting Singapore’s decarbonisation strategy. By restoring performance and prolonging asset life, it enables more responsible lifecycle management as solar deployment continues to grow nationwide.

EtaVolt remains committed to working closely with industry partners, public-sector organisations and technology leaders to strengthen Singapore’s renewable ecosystem. The company will continue advancing circular solar technologies that enhance sustainability, support national climate goals and build a more resilient clean energy landscape for the future.
